Afghan Taliban’s Military Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Two Pilots

Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan reported that a military helicopter crashed in the north of the country after colliding with high voltage lines, killing two members of its crew.

According to the Ministry, today, Sunday morning, at 9:00 am, an MD-530 aircraft took off from the Mazar-i-Sharif airport in the northern province of Balkh, heading towards Samangan province with regular patrols, and as a result of a technical malfunction, it collided with a high pressure line. resulting in the death of two pilots.

The ministry added that the Afghan authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
