Afternoon Trade News Alert on: LifePoint Health Inc (NASDAQ:LPNT), ReneSola (NYSE:SOL), Hawaiian Holdings, (NASDAQ:HA), Biomed Realty Trust Inc (NYSE:BMR)

On Thursday, in the course of Afternoon trade, Shares of LifePoint Health Inc (NASDAQ:LPNT), dropped -1.05%, and is now trading at $80.39.

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company, declared the sale of Fleming County Hospital (FCH) to LifePoint Health (LPNT). BGL served as the exclusive financial advisor to FCH in the transaction. The specific terms of the transaction were not revealed.

Opened in 1962 as a district hospital, Flemingsburg, Kentucky-based Fleming County Hospital is a regional provider of inpatient and outpatient services to residents of Fleming and surrounding counties. FCH opened a new replacement facility in 2008 featuring private rooms, expanded operating rooms, a larger emergency department, state of the art imaging equipment, and many other improvements. The hospital employs over 260 staff members and has 52 acute care beds, 10 of which are swing beds.

LifePoint Health, Inc., through its auxiliaries, operates general acute care hospitals primarily in non-urban communities in the United States. Its hospitals offer a range of medical and surgical services, such as general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics, emergency room care, radiology, oncology, diagnostic care, coronary care, rehabilitation, and pediatric services, in addition to specialized services comprising open-heart surgery, skilled nursing, psychiatric care, and neuro-surgery.

During an Afternoon trade, Shares of ReneSola Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:SOL), dipped -2.58%, and is now trading at $1.32.

ReneSola Ltd, declared that it has reached a definitive agreement with Pristine Sun, LLC (“Pristine Sun”), a leading San Francisco-based solar project developer, to form a joint-venture, Baynergy, LLC (“Baynergy”), to develop, build and operate over 300 MW of solar projects in the United States, counting many distributed generation projects.

Under the terms of the agreement, ReneSola will hold a majority equity interest in the joint venture while Pristine Sun may own up to 49 percent equity interest dependent on meeting certain conditions. Baynergy initially will own solar projects in various development stages and will continue to develop, build and operate a total solar project pipeline of 300 MW. The joint venture has an initial target of 150 MW of solar projects to be in operation by the end of 2016.

ReneSola Ltd, through its auxiliaries, manufactures and sells various solar power products. It operates through two segments, Wafer, and Cell and Module. The company offers virgin polysilicon; mono crystalline and multi crystalline solar wafers; and photovoltaic cells.

Shares of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:HA), during its Thursday’s current trading session gained 1.58%, and is now trading at $23.76.

Hawaiian Airlines, has declared its system-wide traffic statistics for the month of July and year to date.

Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., through its partner, Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., engages in the planned air transportation of passengers and cargo. It offers daily services on North America routes between the state of Hawaii and Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Phoenix, Arizona; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington, in addition to daily services on its neighbor island routes among the four major islands of the state of Hawaii.

Finally, Biomed Realty Trust Inc (NYSE:BMR), lost -2.14% Thursday.

BioMed Realty Trust, stated funds from operations (FFO) and core FFO (CFFO) per diluted share of $0.58 for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015, driven by the company’s strong leasing, development deliveries, and investment acumen over the past four quarters.

The company’s unique platform, anchored by a deep team of life science real estate professionals, delivered a new record for gross leasing in the quarter with 1.3 million square feet led by new leases with Eli Lilly and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in New York, and Illumina in Cambridge, United Kingdom, in addition to leases to top tier research institutions Duke University and Wake Forest University. Total gross leasing in the second quarter resulted in about 218,400 square feet of positive net absorption in the operating portfolio and an additional 370,300 square feet of absorption across the company’s development portfolio.

BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. operates as a real estate investment trust (REIT) that focuses on providing real estate to the life science industry in the United States.
