Afternoon Trade News Analysis on: Vishay Intertechnology(NYSE:VSH), ARRIS Group, (NASDAQ:ARRS), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), Live Nation Entertainment, (NYSE:LYV)

Vishay Intertechnology, (VSH), declared that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.06 per share of common stock and Class B common stock, to be paid on September 24, 2015 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 2, 2015. Future dividends will be subject to Board approval.

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. manufactures and supplies discrete semiconductors and passive components in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Kinetic, which launched April 15, is accessible to more than 50,000 homes in Lincoln, Nebraska, and offers a new way of watching television that leverages the company’s 100% fiber-backed network. The ARRIS NVG343 gateway and set-tops deliver ultra-fast wireless connections that support HD video streaming and whole-home DVR — for high-quality digital TV anywhere in the house.

ARRIS Group, Inc. provides media entertainment and data communications solutions in the United States and internationally. The company operates in two segments, Customer Premises Equipment and Network & Cloud. Google Inc(NASDAQ:GOOG), during its Tuesday’s Afternoon trading session decreased -0.74% to $655.96.

Parkway Properties, Inc. (PKY) declared recently that it has signed a deal with Google Fiber Inc., a partner of Google Inc. (GOOG), to bring its Small Business Gigabit Internet service to Parkway customers. Google Fiber will provide these services to many of Parkway’s office buildings in Atlanta, Austin and Charlotte with the potential to bring Google Fiber to the entire Parkway portfolio if Google Fiber expands its service area.

Live Nation Entertainment (LYV) released financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2015.

Live Nation has continued growing in the second quarter and for the first half, with revenue up 12% and AOI up 6% on a constant currency basis in the second quarter. The enhance in revenue was led by our concerts business as we continued attracting more fans to more shows globally, which in turn drove AOI growth in our advertising and ticketing businesses through the first half of the year.

With the majority of our tickets sold for the year, we are confident that we remain on track to deliver our 2015 plan, and all key leading indicators reinforce our expectation of continued top- and bottom-line growth as we build global market share in our core concerts, advertising and ticketing businesses.
