Competition Intensifies for Barcelona Star
Introduction
Competition has now intensified between Saudi club Al Nasr and fellow club Al Hilal during this summer’s Mercato to include Spanish star Barcelona following Asfar Riyadh’s entry into negotiations.
Reports have already shown that the Al Hilal administration has made an offer to Barcelona to include the team’s midfielder, but is only awaiting approval from the other side.

And according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, this summer Al-Alamy’s management joined Al-Hilal’s rivals in the race for Barcelona’s Ivorian midfielder Frank Casey.
The newspaper added that Al-Alami Castle had asked Barcelona for information on the Casey deal and the response came from the Catalan club asking for 20 million euros.
And a Spanish newspaper said Asfar Riyadh’s proposal to include Casey’s deal was valued at just 15 million euros.
And she stressed that the Ivorian player is not opposed to leaving Barcelona for the time being and gaining new experience if he receives a suitable offer.
On the other hand, the Catalan newspaper Sport reported that the Barça administration had rejected Galatasaray’s offer to loan Casey for the next season with an option to buy.
