Anas Jaber qualifies for quarter-finals at American Championship in Charleston

World No. 5 Tunisian Anas Jaber reached the quarter-finals of the American Championships in Charleston, defeating World No. 172 American Caroline Dolhide.

Anas Jaber defeated the American 6-3, 7-5.

In the sixteenth round, Anas Jaber knocked out Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko, ranked 77th in the world, 6-3, 6-3.

The Tunisian tennis player will meet in the quarterfinals of the Russian national team with Anna Kalinskaya, ranked 70th in the world, who beat Bulgarian Victoria Azarenka, ranked 18th in the world, 6-4, 7-6.

Anas Jaber reached the final round of the last tournament before losing 1-2 to Belinda Bencic of Switzerland.
