While clashes between the two sides of the conflict in Sudan have resumed in the wake of ceasefire violations, the accusations have not stopped.
The Sudanese Army has accused the Rapid Support Forces of storming some prisons and forcing the police to release those inside, after confirming that they had raided Al-Huda prison and forcibly released detainees at gunpoint.
In a statement on Sunday, he said the Rapid Support Forces also took action in Khartoum, seizing and destroying strategic installations.
Evacuation continues
He also went on to say that she attacked the telephone house in the capital and cut off her internet.
He added that checkpoints have been set up in some areas of Khartoum to prevent the movement of citizens.
Regarding the evacuation, in the same statement, the army announced that its forces will continue the rest of the evacuation in accordance with the requests submitted by the countries.
The base from which the missions were evacuated was found to be the Wadi Sayedna base in Khartoum.
He also signaled that the American, British, French and German missions had been evacuated from a base near the capital, while the Qatar and Jordanian missions had been evacuated to Port Sudan.
He confirmed the successful evacuation of several diplomatic missions and citizens of some countries.
Security turmoil reaches prisons
These accusations come at a time when attacks on prisons in Sudan are being repeated due to the security chaos that has accompanied clashes between the two sides of the conflict in the country.
While the ongoing fighting in the country has prompted many countries to evacuate their citizens or employees of their embassies by land, air and sea.
Since last week, Sudan has seen violent clashes between the two main armed forces, especially in Khartoum, which have prevented thousands of people from leaving for other safe states or traveling abroad through the capital’s airport.
Meanwhile, this sudden descent into war in Sudan undermined plans to restore civilian rule, brought an already impoverished country to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe, and threatened a larger war.
Especially since there are no signs so far that either side can achieve a quick victory or that it is ready to step back and engage in dialogue, as Army Commander Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Operational Support Commander Mohamed have previously confirmed. Hamdan Dagalo.
