British newspaper The Sun reported that a fan offered a shirt he designed in case Arsenal win the English Premier League title called “Champions 23” for free sale.
Arsenal’s relinquishment of the title has left fans in dire straits after a series of disappointing results culminating in a 3-0 home defeat to Brighton last Sunday, giving Manchester City the chance to officially win the league in the next round.
One fan offered a Gunners shirt for free, sarcastically saying the product was “full of tears” and asking for £0 to sell the now meaningless shirt.
The team’s balance sheet is stuck at 81 points, second in the Premier League standings, four points behind leaders Manchester City, who needed a single win in their last three matches to secure the title for the third year in a row. Meetings that the “citizens” will start against “Chelsea” at the stadium “Union” next Sunday evening.
