Paris Saint-Germain suffered an unexpected defeat at home to their guest Lorient in a match that brought them together tonight, Sunday, in the 33rd round of the French Ligue 1 football league.

The winning team’s hat-trick was scored by French midfielder Enzo Le Vi, Cameroonian defender Darlene Yongwa and Senegalese striker Bamba Deng in the 15th, 39th and 88th minutes respectively.

While striker Kylian Mbappe scored a goal against the orphaned hosts in the 29th minute of the first half.

Paris Saint-Germain ended the clash with ten men after Moroccan defender Ashraf Hakimi was sent off with a second yellow card 20 minutes into the first half of the match at the Parc des Princes.

His removal is the fastest red card for a Parisian player in the French league since 2018.

Paris Saint-Germain have suffered their first defeat after three consecutive wins and are at the top of the league with 75 points.

On the other hand, the Lorient club achieved their first victory after two defeats in a row, raising their score to 48 points and moving up to tenth place in the rankings.
