Spanish star Sergio Busquets sent a disturbing message to Barcelona fans following his decision to leave the Blue Garnet ranks.
And earlier, Barcelona officially announced that Sergio Busquets, the team captain, decided to leave the Catalan club at the end of the current season.
Barcelona’s average contract expires on June 30, 2023 as talks between the two sides ended with the Spanish player’s contracts not being extended longer, coinciding with the captain’s desire for new experience.
Barcelona’s official website wrote: “After a 15-year career with the first team, captain and legend Sergio Busquets is leaving the club. Thanks for everything, Sergio.”

Busquets posted a video clip of him through his official social media accounts of him talking to Barça fans following his decision to leave.
Busquets said: “Hi Koles, it’s time to announce that this will be my last season at Barça.
He added: “It was an unforgettable journey, since I was young when I came to watch matches or watch them on TV, I always dreamed of playing in this shirt and in this stadium.”
He explained: “Who knew when I arrived as a young man that I would live 15 seasons at the best club in the world.”
And he continued: “Barça is the club of my life, in which I have been and always will be a fan, member, player and captain of the club.”
And he continued: “To be able to play more than 700 matches was an honor, a dream and pride, to be able to defend and represent this slogan for many years.”
He concluded: “But everything has a beginning and an end, and although it was not an easy decision, I think the time has come.”
