Barcelona are looking for a replacement for French striker Ousmane Dembele, who will join Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Dembele’s Departure

Barça’s accounts have been muddled over the past few days by Osman Dembele after he made the sudden decision to leave the Catalan castle this summer after receiving an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman’s contract with the Blaugrana expires next summer and that has eased the process of his departure this summer as Paris Saint-Germain only has to pay a €50m fine to sign Dembele.

Barcelona’s Options

Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Barcelona are now choosing between 7 players to find an option that suits Xavi’s team, and Barça are taking the club’s financial situation into account.

The following names appeared in the reports mentioned by Sport for the list of candidates to join the Catalan club this summer.

They are: Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo), Miguel Almiron (Newcastle United), Marcus Edwards (Sporting Lisbon), Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad) and Serge Gnabry (Bavaria).
