Benzema’s parting gift to Perez before departure

Real Madrid captain Karim Benzema presented a gift to club president Florentino Perez after a positive draw (1:1) during the Athletic Bilbao match yesterday, Sunday, in the last round of La Liga.

After the match, Benzema went to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, where Florentino Perez was waiting for him.

Benzema gave Pérez a T-shirt with the number 25, the number of Benzema’s titles with Merengue, and the inscription: “To my boss… KB9”.

Benzema is expected to sign his transfer contracts with Saudi League champions Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the coming days.

With this draw, Real Madrid raised their tally to 78 points in the La Liga table, while Athletic Bilbao raised their tally to 51 points in eighth place.
