A Novosti correspondent reported that several thousand citizens gathered in Berlin for a peaceful march on the eve of Catholic Easter to protest against the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
The marchers expressed support for the peace talks.
It is noteworthy that Germany is witness to these holidays, the annual Easter marches that bring together supporters of various peace initiatives in more than 120 German cities.
According to observers, at least 3,000 people are taking part in the rally in Berlin.
The demonstrators carry banners with the image of a dove of peace, as well as banners with the inscriptions: “US and NATO out of Ukraine”, “Diplomacy, not weapons”, “Against absurd sanctions, now we need cheap energy”, “Tanks are not needed”. never bring peace,” and the marchers expressed their opposition to Europe’s dependence on US policy.
Before the start of the march, one of the participants from the mobile platform sang the song “Let the sun always shine” in Russian, German and Hebrew.
