Biden addresses concerns over his advanced age

US President Joe Biden said that the older he gets, the wiser he becomes and that, despite criticism against him, he will not resign and will run in the upcoming elections, despite his advanced age.

And Biden added during a speech to unions in Philadelphia on the occasion of Labor Day today, Monday: “I’ll tell you something, you know, someone said that Biden is getting old, he’s no longer fit to run the country, look, this is not true, the only thing that comes with age is a little wisdom.”

Biden concluded: “I have been in politics for a very long time, maybe longer than anyone else, and as you judge, I will continue to do so with your help.”

Biden, 80, is seeking re-election for a second presidential term in the 2024 election.

And US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green announced the upcoming vote to initiate the impeachment proceedings against US President Joe Biden and confirmed that “there will be a vote to open an investigation to remove him.”

And Greene wrote on her account on Platform X (formerly Twitter) that it was time for Biden to release all messages he made under his own name or under pseudonyms, as well as all bank details, sources of income, visitor. records and details of meetings from his home in Delaware.

It should be noted that in late August, CNN reported that McCarthy and a number of senior representatives of the Republican Party began to form a strategy to launch investigations that fall under Biden’s impeachment procedure.

On August 28, it became known that some Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives support starting impeachment proceedings against Biden in September, with South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman saying: “We have enough evidence to impeach him.”

It should be noted that this is not the first step by the Republicans to launch the Biden impeachment process, since House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called for these measures amid suspicions of Biden’s involvement in the business of his son Hunter Biden, which the US president denied.
