American journalist Seymour Hersh ruled out that US President Joe Biden and his entourage admitted their responsibility for the bombing of Nord Stream, and felt that they did not have the necessary courage to do so.
“At this point, barring a major split among the few who know, it is likely that Biden and his aides will never admit the truth,” Hersh wrote on his blog.
He also accused Biden of ignoring America’s European allies. According to him, by agreeing to destroy the Nord Stream, he thereby exposed them to the danger of not being able to warm their people.
In addition, Hirsch noted, it is no coincidence that the explosions occurred 10 days after Vladimir Putin, during a press conference in Tashkent, suggested that the West lift sanctions on Nord Stream 2. He called for the direct operation of the pipeline to solve the problem of gas shortages.
