The BRICS group announced the election of former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff as the new head of the New Development Bank, replacing Brazilian Marcos Troicho in this post.
“Dilma Rousseff was unanimously elected by the Board of Governors of the New Development Bank as President of the Bank on March 24, 2023. She immediately took office in accordance with the Articles of Agreement relating to the New Development Bank and the procedure for electing the President, ”the letter posted Friday on the official website of the financial institution says.
