On Thursday, Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE)’s shares inclined 0.56% to $6.24, as some solar stocks continue to gain after Congress voted this week to extend a solar investment tax credit beyond 2016.

The 30% federal tax is aimed at increasing the number of residential and commercial solar installations, Reuters stated. The deal still must be approved and voted on by lawmakers.

SUNE has beta value stands at 3.53 times and earnings per share was $-3.63. The company has total of 316.72 million outstanding shares and its total market capitalization is $1.97 million. 52-week price range of the stock remained $2.55 - $33.45.

SunEdison, Inc. develops, manufactures, and sells silicon wafers to the semiconductor industry. The company operates through three segments: Solar Energy, TerraForm Power, and Semiconductor Materials. The Solar Energy segment provides solar energy services that integrate the design, installation, financing, monitoring, operations, and maintenance portions of the downstream solar market.

Frontier Communications Corp (NASDAQ:FTR)’s shares gained 1.05% to $4.79.

DuPont declared the following executive leadership changes, effective Jan. 1, 2016 to streamline the company for growth and simplify the organization.

James C. Collins, executive vice president, will lead the DuPont Agriculture business segment. Marc Doyle has been named executive vice president and will lead the Electronics & Communications, Industrial Biosciences, Nutrition & Health, Performance Materials and Safety & Protection business segments.

Richard C. Olson has been named senior vice president – Corporate Services and will assume responsibility for the Safety, Health & Environment, Operational Excellence, Facility Services & Real Estate, Sourcing & Logistics and Information Technology functions. Douglas Muzyka, senior vice president and chief science and technology officer, adds responsibility for Engineering Technologies and the company’s regional leadership.

In addition to the leadership changes, James C. Borel, executive vice president and Gary W. Spitzer, senior vice president, Integrated Operations and Engineering have elected to retire following 36 years of service with DuPont, respectively, effective in early 2016.
