Creating a Unified Professional National Military Institution

In an official statement, he also stressed the need to recognize the need to create and build a new Sudanese army in order to create a unified professional national military institution that distances itself from politics and reflects the diversity of Sudan.

Start Transition

He also stated that the broadest possible political and social base of political parties and civil society organizations from all regions of Sudan should be brought to power, pointing out that all armed struggle movements should participate in any political decision.

Hamidti stressed the need to start the transition and democratic transition and hold elections, stressing that achieving peace in Sudan requires an end to state violence against citizens.

He said that the search for a long-term ceasefire should be combined with the principles of a comprehensive political solution aimed at addressing the root causes of wars in Sudan.

He also pointed out that the civil and military institutions of the state should be created on the approved global basis, and the party or political presence within them should be eliminated.

Current Situation

It is noteworthy that Sudan has slipped into a bitter war that has flared up between the army and the Rapid Support Forces since mid-April.

The two sides also exchanged numerous accusations of committing offenses involving robbery and theft, as well as achieving victories.

So far, many regional and domestic international mediations have not even succeeded in calming down and ceasing fire to reach a final solution, despite UN warnings that this conflict “creates a humanitarian emergency of enormous proportions that threatens the entire country.”
