Symantec Corp. (SYMC) and The Carlyle Group (CG), declared that they expect to close Carlyle’s acquisition of Veritas on January 29, 2016, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The closing was formerly predictable to take place on January 1, 2016.
