During Tuesday’s Morning trade, Shares of Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NBL), gained 1.52% to $36.87.
Noble Energy, declared a farm-out agreement for a portion of its interest in Block 12 offshore Cyprus with BG International (“BG”). BG is acquiring a 35 percent interest in Block 12, which comprises the Aphrodite natural gas discovery, for total cash consideration of $165 million. Aphrodite, discovered in 2011, has gross mean natural gas resources of about four trillion cubic feet. The transaction has an effective date of April 1, 2015, and is predictable to close before the end of 2015. Noble Energy will maintain operatorship of Block 12 with a 35 percent interest.

We are ongoing to work with the government of Cyprus to finalize Aphrodite development plans. In conjunction with that work, we have recently commenced gas marketing efforts, primarily targeting customers in Egypt, counting both domestic purchasers and underutilized liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants.”

United Healthcare and the Magic Johnson Foundation presented Holiday Hope events to 2,800 families in Michigan. Holiday Hope is a relief effort aimed at supporting distressed Michigan families during the holiday season. The events provide families with food, holiday trimmings, essential living necessities and other items to bring seasonal cheer.
The events – held on Saturday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 22, in Detroit and Lansing, respectively – were part of a three-year partnership between United Healthcare and the Magic Johnson Foundation. United Healthcare will be the presenting sponsor for the Magic Johnson Foundation Holiday Hope efforts.

Jersey Central Power & Light, has accomplished upgrades to enhance service reliability on 31 circuits serving nearly 50,000 customers across its service area. For 2015, nearly $6 million has been budgeted for the circuit upgrade program, with 73 of 90 circuits being accomplished. The remaining 17 circuits are predictable to be accomplished by year-end.
“These circuit upgrades allow us to use advanced technology to enhance our electric system,” said Tony Hurley, vice president of Operations for JCP&L. “The work provides additional resiliency and is designed to assist limit the frequency and duration of service disruptions to our customers.”
