During Friday’s Morning trade, Shares of Sun Power Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWR), lost -1.66% to $26.68.

Sun Power Corp., declared that construction has commenced on Boulder Solar, a 100-megawatt (AC) solar power plant located in the Eldorado Valley of Boulder City, Nev. NV Energy has contracted to buy the power generated at the plant under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

“With more than 5.8 gigawatts of operating solar systems worldwide, the power plants we deliver leverage SunPower’s proven experience and innovative, high performance technology,” said Jorg Heinemann, Sun Power executive vice president, global power plants. “We are happy to partner again with NV Energy to power more Nevada homes and businesses with sustainable, cost-competitive solar.”

Boulder Solar is predictable to create about 200 jobs during construction. Anticipated to be operational in 2016, the project may generate enough electricity to serve the needs of more than 60,000 homes during daylight hours, based on estimates offered by NV Energy.

Sun Power Corporation designs, manufactures, and delivers solar systems to residential, commercial, and utility-scale power plant customers worldwide. The company offers solar power components, counting panels, balance of system components, and inverters.

Shares of Agilent Technologies Inc (NYSE:A), inclined 1.79% to $40.88, during its current trading session.

Agilent Technologies, named Dr. Mitchell Guttman the winner of its 2015 Early Career Professor Award. The award, now in its seventh year, recognizes one early career professor for his or her exceptional, original research contributions and outstanding potential for future research. Dr. Guttman was selected from a global pool of professors contributing to the understanding and use of RNA-based technologies for genome editing and control.

Dr. Guttman is assistant professor of biology and biological engineering at the California Institute of Technology, in Pasadena. His research has described a new class of RNA called large intergenic noncoding RNA. Commonly referred to as lincRNAs, these entities control gene expression and, as shown by Dr. Guttman, regulate important cellular processes. Examples of such processes comprise differentiation of embryonic stem cells and prevention of overproduction of gene products by inactivation of one of the two X chromosomes found in the cells of females.

Through Dr. Guttman’s research, scientists now have a better understanding of how lincRNA interacts with proteins and target genomic regions. Given the unparalleled properties of these molecules, he is further investigating their use in cellular engineering.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. provides bio-analytical solutions and services to the life sciences, diagnostics and genomics, chemical analysis, communications, and electronics industries worldwide.

Finally, Shares of Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLAB), gained 6.22%, and is now trading at $12.35.

Photronics, stated financial results for the fiscal 2015 fourth quarter and fiscal year ended November 1, 2015.

Fourth quarter sales were $141.7 million, a sequential improvement of 8% and up 14% contrast with last year. Sales of semiconductor photomasks were $111.5 million, up 12% contrast with the fourth quarter of 2014, and sales of flat panel display (FPD) photomasks were $30.2 million, up 21% contrast with last year. Net income attributable to Photronics, Inc. shareholders was $18.6 million, or $0.25 per diluted share, contrast with $4.3 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2014.

“We benefited from very strong demand for High–End photomasks in both IC and FPD,” stated Peter Kirlin, chief executive officer. “High-End memory and flat panel display have been strong all year, and those trends continued through the fourth quarter. High-End logic also contributed as customers introduced new designs at advanced nodes. Coupled with these strong demand drivers, we realized a high level of operating leverage, allowing us to deliver strong bottom line growth. Finally, our net cash position expanded to $73 million, providing additional flexibility as we look to invest in our future and improvement shareholder value. Needless to say, I’m very happy with these results and the performance by everyone in the organization to achieve them.”

Photronics, Inc., together with its auxiliaries, manufactures and sells photomasks in the United States. Photomasks are high precision photographic quartz plates containing microscopic images of electronic circuits. It offers photomasks for the use in the manufacture of semiconductors and flat panel displays (FPDs), in addition to for use as masters to transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers and flat panel substrates during the fabrication of integrated circuits, FPDs, and other types of electrical and optical components.
