Delegations from Ten Countries to Participate in Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok
Delegations from Belarus, Vietnam, India, Kazakhstan, China, North Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, and the Philippines are taking part in the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok.
Expectations for the Forum
“We expect guests from China, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Singapore will take part in them. These delegations will take part in the business program, and we will hold meetings with a number of foreign delegations – at the level of the governor of the region and the head regional government,” said the head of the regional government Vera Shcherbina.
Heads and Representatives of Delegations
The event will be headed by the ambassadors of Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Singapore, and the Philippines, as well as delegations from their countries. The Chinese delegation will be headed by Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing, and the delegation will also include representatives of some regions of China. The participation of the delegation of Laos at the level of Vice-President Pani Yatoto is also expected in the forum.
The Republic of Myanmar will send a delegation at the level of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Transport and Communications, General Mya Tun Yu. Representatives of Vietnam and North Korea will take part in the forum.
Eastern Economic Forum 2023
It is noteworthy that the Eastern Economic Forum 2023 will be held from 10 to 13 September in Vladivostok (Primorsky Krai). This year it will be held on the theme “On the path of cooperation, peace, and prosperity.”
