Philip Morris Egypt has announced price increases for cigarettes and tobacco products it sells in the local market starting this Thursday.
Ibrahim Imbabi, Head of Tobacco Products at the Federation of Industries, explained that the increase would be between 2 and 6 pounds per pack, depending on the type of pack, explaining that the increase was due to the company’s high production costs, which prompted them to increase the prices of their products. .
The amount of increase for each type is as follows:
