The PlayStation 5 and Switch versions of Elypse will be released on August 2

Publisher PID Games and developer Hot Chili Games have announced that the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions of the side-scrolling action platformer Elypse will be available for purchase on August 2. The game will be priced at $19.99 / €19.99.

It is unclear whether the previously announced PlayStation 4 version is still in development. has reached out to PID Games for clarification but has not received a response at this time.

Originally released for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 17, Elypse is a Metroidvania platformer set in a dark and gloomy world. Players must navigate treacherous environments, face dangerous foes, and unlock new skills and abilities to escape the depths of the Abyss.
