Eurozone Unemployment Rate Reaches 6.4% in June 2023

Eurostat, the European statistical office, announced that the eurozone unemployment rate reached 6.4% in June 2023, the lowest level recorded since April 1998.

This percentage indicates the stability of the unemployment rate compared to May 2023 and a significant decrease from the level that reached 6.7% in June 2022.

The unemployment rate in the European Union as a whole remained at 5.9% in June 2023, stable compared to May 2023, and below 6.1% in June 2022, as the number of unemployed in the European Union reached 12, 8 million people, according to SPA.

Significant Decline in Unemployment
