Evacuation of White House Building in Washington Sparks Concern

The American newspaper Politico reported that the office building adjacent to the White House in Washington, DC, was evacuated.

And a correspondent for the paper tweeted, quoting a White House spokesman, “Work is underway to vacate the White House Executive Office in the Eisenhower Building and close it from the outside.”

He explained that the threat level has not yet been determined, and the reason for the evacuation has not been announced.

Footage circulating on social media shows police and firefighters outside the building.
