Intraday Movers: SunEdison, Inc. (NYSE:SUNE), Noble Corporation plc (NYSE:NE), Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (NYSE:FCAU)

On Monday, Shares of SunEdison, Inc. (NYSE:SUNE), lost -3.78% to $22.40.

SunEdison began construction on a 110-megawatt solar farm in Chile, its largest in Latin America, according to Bloomberg.

The company has arranged $160 million in long-term non-recourse debt financing for the project from Chile’s CorpBanca SA and DNB ASA, Norway’s largest financial services group, Maryland Heights, Missouri-based SunEdison said in a statement Tuesday. Bloomberg Reports

Power from the Quilapilun plant, the company’s first in Chile’s Metropolitan Region, will be sold under long-term power purchase agreements signed as part of a deal declared in December. SunEdison said then it would invest more than $700 million in Chilean solar energy. Bloomberg said

SunEdison’s TerraForm Power Inc. yieldco unit will acquire the Chile plant in early 2016. It’s predictable to generate enough power for 117,000 homes. Bloomberg added

Shares of Noble Corporation plc (NYSE:NE), declined -2.34% to $11.67, during its last trading session, hitting its lowest level, as falling crude prices continue to cause declines in the oil sector.

On Friday, the S&P 500 closed down 0.2%, dragged lower by the energy sector, but the benchmark gained 1.2% for the week and 2% for the month. Market Watch Reports

Noble Corporation plc operates as an offshore drilling contractor for the oil and gas industry worldwide. It owns and operates a fleet of mobile offshore drilling units. As of December 31, 2014, the company operated a fleet of 15 jackups, 9 drillships, and 8 semisubmersibles, counting 1 high-specification, harsh environment jackup under construction.

Finally, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (NYSE:FCAU), ended its last trade with 2.15% gain, and closed at $16.14.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles stated U.S. sales of 178,027 units, a 6 percent enhance contrast with sales in July 2014 (167,667 units), and the group’s best July sales since 2005.

The Chrysler, Jeep®, and Ram Truck brands each posted year-over-year sales gains in July contrast with the same month a year ago. The Jeep brand’s 23 percent enhance was the largest sales gain of any FCA US brand during the month. The group extended its streak of year-over-year sales gains to 64-successive months.

“Last week FCA declared a 69 percent enhance in second quarter profits and now we post our best July U.S. sales since 2005,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “With Jeep sales up 23 percent, we were also able to achieve our 64th-successive month of year-over-year sales enhances.”

Eight FCA US vehicles set records in the month of July, counting the Chrysler 200, which posted the largest percentage year-over-year enhance of any FCA US vehicle in the month. Sales of the 200 were up 85 percent, the mid-size sedan’s best July sales ever. In addition, the Dodge Challenger, Dodge Journey, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Patriot, Jeep Compass, and Ram ProMaster each recorded their best July sales ever.
