On Monday, Shares of Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN), gained 1.46% to $165.97.

Amgen, declared that it will report its first quarter financial results on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, after the close of the U.S. financial markets. The declaration will be followed by a conference call with the investment community at 2 p.m. PT. Participating in the call from Amgen will be Robert A. Bradway, chairman and chief executive officer, and other members of Amgen’s senior administration team.

Shares of Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR), gained 1.46% to $51.40, during its last trading session.

According to TheStreets.com, Twitter is changing the rules for its private messaging service, known as “Direct Messages” (DM) in an effort to boost activity.

Monday, the company said users can now choose to receive private messages from anyone, whether they follow the person or not. The rule change marks a conspicuous departure from the status quo. It is designed to spark more private conversations on Twitter while simultaneously assisting the company raise its profile in the highly competitive messaging market. Preceding to the update, Twitter users could only communicate via direct message if they followed one another.

Twitter, Inc. operates as a global platform for public self-expression and conversation in real time. It offers various products and services for users, counting Twitter that allows users to create, distribute, and discover content; and Vine and video, a mobile application that enables users to create and distribute short looping videos.

At the end of Monday’s trade, Shares of DryShips, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS), gained 1.35% to $0.75.

DryShips, declared that the Company’s 2015 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held at the Company’s offices located at 109 Kifisias Avenue & Sina Street, GR 151 24, Marousi, Athens, Greece on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., local time.

The Company’s board of directors has fixed the close of business on Thursday, April 30, 2015 as the record date for the determination of the shareholders entitled to receive notice and to vote at the Annual Meeting or any adjournments or postponements thereof.

Formal notice of the Annual Meeting and the Company’s proxy statement are predictable to be sent to shareholders on or about Tuesday, May 5, 2015.

DryShips Inc. provides ocean transportation services for drybulk and petroleum cargoes, and offshore deepwater drilling services. The company operates through Drybulk, Tanker, and Drilling segments.

Finally, NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NEE), ended its last trade with 1.31% gain, and closed at $104.50.

Hanwha Q CELLS Co. declared the signing of a major solar module supply contract with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, a partner of one of the world’s largest clean energy companies, U.S.-based NextEra Energy, Inc. (NEE).

A partner of Hanwha Q CELLS will provide more than 1.5 GW of solar modules to NextEra Energy Resources and its associates between 4Q 2015 and 4Q 2016 to assist power its continued solar expansion in the U.S.

Hanwha Q CELLS will supply these shipment to NextEra Energy Resourses from its fully automated and highly-efficient cell and module production facilities in Malaysia and Korea. These solar modules will use the company’s newest, proprietary Q.ANTUM cell architecture, which supercharges ordinary crystalline cells enabling them to absorb more sunlight and produce more power than the industry’s standard solutions. Hanwha Q CELLS is the first company that successfully commercialized multi c-Si PERC cell in mass production.

This large-scale supply contract follows Hanwha Q CELLS’ recent, successful combination with Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. to form a global leader in solar power. The combined entity has the world’s largest solar cell manufacturing capacity, and it is one of the largest solar module manufacturers. Its broad international footprint covers the largest and fastest-growing solar markets worldwide.
