On Monday, Shares of Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX), gained 0.86% to $17.07.

Boston Scientific Corporation, has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for the SYNERGY™ Bioabsorbable Polymer Drug-Eluting Stent System (BP-DES) for the treatment of coronary artery disease.

With this FDA approval, Boston Scientific will commence commercialization of the first and only BP-DES in the U.S. Notably, both the drug coating and the polymer – which modulates drug release – are fully absorbed shortly after drug elution is complete at three months.

The SYNERGY Stent provides synchronized drug and polymer absorption. It is designed to enable more rapid and complete arterial healing, and to thereby reduce the risk of complications associated with long-term polymer exposure contrast to presently-used drug-eluting stents (DES) with permanent polymers.

Boston Scientific Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices for use in various interventional medical specialties worldwide.

Shares of American Express Company (NYSE:AXP), inclined 3.88% to $77.30, during its last trading session.

American Express Company, declared recently that Dead & Company has been chosen as the next artists in its popular live stream music series “American Express Unstaged,” in partnership with Vevo and YouTube. This new show has been added to the band’s Fall 2015 tour plan on Saturday, November 7 at Madison Square Garden. The band and American Express will distribute 10,000 free tickets for this concert via a sweepstakes and fans will have the chance to support the Robin Hood Foundation, New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization.”

The Amex Unstaged global concert livestream will be directed by Brett Ratner and will be streamed at amexunstaged.com and via the Unstaged app on the evening of November 7.

Tyson Foods, and Delaware North partnered recently to donate a truckload of chicken to the Food Bank of Western New York to assist alleviate hunger in their community.

The Food Bank, which serves Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties, will distribute the donated food to partnering on-site feeding agencies such as soup kitchens.

Meat and poultry are nutrient dense foods, according to health experts, and can be especially assistful to people who need more protein, counting growing children, pregnant women, the elderly, and anyone undergoing severe stress, disease or disability.   • Fuel Cell Buses in China – Sept. 25 : A long-term license and supply agreement with an existing partner in China to provide fuel cell Power Products and Technology Solutions in support of the planned deployment of about 300 fuel cell-powered buses in the cities of Foshan and Yunfu. The transaction has an estimated initial value of $17 million through 2016, with the opportunity for noteworthy recurring royalties starting in 2017.
  • Fuel Cell Trams in China – Sept. 28 : A joint development agreement and a supply agreement to develop and commercialize a fuel cell engine specifically designed for integration into low floor trams manufactured by a major Chinese rolling stock manufacturer. The agreements comprise 2016 delivery of 10 customized power modules and have an initial value predictable to be about $6 million .
  • Telecom Backup Power Modules in India – Sept. 30 : A purchase order was received from Aditya Birla Group for 50 ElectraGenTM-H2 direct hydrogen modules that will be deployed in the Idea Cellular telecom network in India .

Ballard Power Systems Inc. is engaged in development and commercialization of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell.
