Abercrombie & Fitch Co.`s (ANF) Hollister brand, declared a “Buy a Coat, Give a Coat” program in partnership with non-profit organization, Operation Warm. For each winter coat sold in Hollister stores and online across the United States from Tuesday, December 1 through Saturday, December 13, a new Operation Warm coat will be donated to a child in need, up to 8,000 coats. In addition to the brand`s in-store efforts, Hollister will offer opportunities to support the cause on Twitter. For each campaign-related re tweet, Operation Warm will donate a new coat, up to an additional 2,000, to children in need.

“We know that there are many families across the country who struggle to provide warm coats for their children and we are excited to be able to provide some relief to them this holiday season,” said Fran Horowitz, Brand President of Hollister. “Our company is focused on supporting the communities in which we do business and are honored to partner with Operation Warm to reach our aim of donating 10,000 new coats to children in need this winter.”

The Operation Warm coats will be distributed to communities across the nation, in addition to an elementary school near the company`s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Operation Warm is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families in need by providing brand new winter coats to children around the United States. Founded in 1998, they manufacture high-quality winter coats exclusively for the children they serve. To date, Operation Warm has given new winter coats to nearly 2 million children throughout the country.
