On Wednesday, Shares of National Bank of Greece S.A. (NYSE:NBG), gained 6.40% to $1.33, as financial stocks finished broadly higher Wednesday, with the NYSE Financial Sector Index jumping 1.6% and the S&P Financial 100 Index climbing over 1.4%.

During Wednesday’s trade, 28,540,109 shares exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 10,031,300. The company holds the market capitalization of $4.70B.

National Bank of Greece S.A., together with its auxiliaries, provides diversified financial services. The company is involved in retail and commercial banking, asset administration, investment banking, brokerage, and insurance activities. It offers current accounts, deposit multiproducts, deposits in foreign currency, savings accounts, sight accounts, and time deposit accounts.

Shares of WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (NASDAQ:WETF), inclined 5.83% to $22.88, during its last trading session, hitting its highest level.

S&P MidCap 400 constituent Qorvo Inc. (QRVO) will replace Lorillard Inc. (LO) in the S&P 500, and WisdomTree Investments Inc. (WETF) will replace Qorvo in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Thursday, June 11. S&P 500 constituent Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) is acquiring Lorillard in a deal predictable to be accomplished on June 12.

Qorvo provides technologies and radio frequency solutions for mobile, infrastructure, defense, and aerospace applications. Headquartered in Greensboro, NC, the company will be added to the S&P 500 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Semiconductors Sub-Industry index.

WisdomTree Investments, Inc., through its auxiliaries, operates as an exchange-traded funds (ETFs) sponsor and asset manager. It offers ETFs in equities, currency, fixed income, and alternatives asset classes. The company also licenses its indexes to third parties for proprietary products, in addition to offers a platform to promote the use of WisdomTree ETFs in 401(k) plans.

Finally, Calpine Corp. (NYSE:CPN), ended its last trade with 1.49% gain, and closed at $19.75.

Matrix Service Company (MTRX) declared recently that its partner, Matrix North American Construction has reached substantial completion on the Calpine (CPN) Garrison Energy Center, an attained EPC joint venture with Parsons Brinckerhoff.

“We are happy to declare that this project is substantially complete and as such Calpine is in commercial operation of the facility,” said Matrix Service Company president and CEO, John R. Hewitt. “We are proud of our team’s commitment to ensuring safe, high quality work and in meeting our delivery obligations under a difficult delivery plan. While we will be concluding various punch list activities during the coming weeks, we expect to complete the project within our previous forecast.”

Calpine Executive Vice President of Power Operations, John Adams, expressed appreciation for Matrix NAC’s work on the state-of-the-art plant, which will bring more efficient, economic power to its customers in an environmentally clean manner. “Matrix NAC’s expertise in combined cycle power plants, together with their commitment to quality and timeliness has been invaluable,” he said. “We are excited to bring this state-of-the-art plant online.”

Calpine Corporation, a wholesale power generation company, owns and operates natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants in North America. It operates natural gas-fired combustion turbines and renewable geothermal conventional steam turbines.
