AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) amended its bylaws to permit eligible stockholders to nominate director candidates for inclusion on the company’s proxy card.
The change will allow a stockholder or a group of up to 20 stockholders, to nominate candidates. Stockholders may nominate up to the greater of two directors or 20% of the number of directors on the board. Nominating stockholders must own at least 3% of AT&T’s shares outstanding for a period of at least 3 successive years proceeding to making a nomination. Other eligibility requirements are set out in the bylaws.
AT&T products and services are offered or offered by auxiliaries and associates of AT&T Inc. under the AT&T brand and not by AT&T Inc.

She received both her BS degree in electrical science and engineering, and ME degree in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
