On Wednesday, Shares of Arrowhead Research Corp (NASDAQ:ARWR), lost -0.57% to $ 5.23.

Arrowhead Research Corporation, presented an overview of its broad RNAi delivery platform at the Annual Meeting of the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society in Leiden, the Netherlands. Comprised in this presentation was data from a new program, ARC-LPA, which is designed to reduce production of apolipoprotein A [apo(a)], a key component of lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]. Lp(a) has been genetically linked with raised risk of cardiovascular diseases, independent of cholesterol and LDL levels. Using a new subcutaneous delivery construct that Arrowhead has developed, an initial lead compound has achieved up to 90% knockdown of apo(a) in mice.

“Our ability to generate RNAi drugs for a wide variety of indications has expanded dramatically with our advances in delivery,” said Chris Anzalone, Ph.D., Arrowhead’s president and chief executive officer. “We presently have two drugs in the clinic, ARC-520 and ARC-AAT, that validate our capabilities in IV liver delivery and provide additional confidence in follow-on candidates ARC-F12 and ARC-521. We are now able to deliver to tumors, as exemplified by ARC-HIF2, and report data recently on subcutaneous administration for liver delivery with ARC-LPA. These capabilities provide broad opportunities to fight diverse diseases and enable us to drive an aggressive pipeline.”

Arrowhead Research Corporation develops novel drugs to treat intractable diseases in the United States. The company’s principal product candidates comprise ARC-520, an RNAi-based therapeutic that is in Phase IIa clinical trial to treat chronic hepatitis B virus infection; and ARC-AAT, a novel unlocked nucleobase analog containing RNAi-based therapeutic for the treatment of liver disease associated with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

Shares of 2U Inc (NASDAQ:TWOU), declined -1.90% to $23.77, during its last trading session.

2U, Inc. (TWOU), declared that it will report its financial results for the third quarter of 2015 on Thursday, November 5, 2015, following the close of the market.

On that day, 2U Chief Executive Officer Chip Paucek, Chief Impact Officer Jim Shelton, and Chief Financial Officer Cathy Graham will hold an audio webcast and conference call at 5 p.m. (ET) to discuss the results.

Finally, Net Element International Inc (NASDAQ:NETE), ended its last trade with -7.97% loss, and closed at $0.127.

Net Element, a provider of global mobile payment technology solutions and value-added transactional services, launched its online payments processing business in Kyrgyzstan by securing a contract with Daroy.net, the country’s largest online clothing store serving retail and wholesale customers from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Belarus.
