AT&T, Digital Life ®, a home security and automation service, and Habitat for Humanity are ongoing their partnership to rebuild and revitalize communities around the U.S. This effort will kick off in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 28, with local AT&T employee volunteers assisting build a Habitat home in partnership with a low-income family. The Phase 3 EYEGUARD-B study (A randomisEd, double-masked, placebo-controlled studY of the Efficacy of GevokizUmAb in the tReatment of patients with Behcet’s Disease uveitis) was designed to enroll patients with a history of Behcet’s disease uveitis with ocular involvement of the posterior segment who have practiced a recent ocular exacerbation that was treated successfully with high doses of corticosteroids. Patients were randomized to either a 60 mg dose of gevokizumab or placebo administered subcutaneously once monthly on top of their current immunosuppressive and corticosteroid therapies. The primary endpoint is the time to first acute ocular exacerbation.

XOMA Corporation discovers and develops antibody-based therapeutics in the United States, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. (ISSI) offered an update on its discussions regarding the unsolicited offer from Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, proposing to acquire all of the outstanding common stock of ISSI for $19.75 per share in cash and on the status of the pending acquisition of ISSI by Uphill Investment Co. for $19.25 per share in cash following the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated as of March 12, 2015.
