The voice of Venom, Tony Todd, revealed on Twitter that Spider-Man 2 would debut in September and that an aggressive promotional campaign would begin in August.
Todd responded to a message on Twitter that said he’d “been told” advertising will start airing in August to promote the release of Spider-Man 2, which will supposedly come out in September. Todd has violated any NDA that may have been in place.
Todd shared a picture of himself in a motion capture frame on Twitter, to which someone responded, “Can’t come soon enough Spider-Man 2.”
Well, we’re not sure why, but Tony Todd plainly stated the following in his response with complete, unrestrained transparency:
It appears to be September! August will bring a lot of media attention. I’ve been told that advertisements begin to air in august. Hold your breath while holding on to anything. Going to be required
Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 was said to have a debut window in the fall of 2023. The developer still needs to provide a date confirmation. According to the anticipation, the sequel to 2018’s phenomenally popular Spider-Man is expected to be a Game of the Year candidate. Since Spider-Man 2’s announcement a year and a half ago, fans of the web-slinging hero (and his friends) have eagerly awaited any updates.
Strangely, Tony Todd may have revealed a little knowledge about the making of Spider-Man 2 before. In November of last year, he made another revealing Tweet on the social media site that almost revealed all.
Wait and see if Todd quickly takes down that Tweet.
