On Thursday, Shares of AstraZeneca plc (ADR) (NYSE:AZN), gained 1.97% to $31.07.

Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) and AstraZeneca (AZN), declared an extension to their existing immuno-oncology partnership exploring novel combination therapies for the treatment of patients with solid tumors.

Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Lilly and AstraZeneca will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a range of additional combinations across the companies’ complementary portfolios. Lilly will lead the execution of the studies, while both companies will contribute resources. Additional details of the collaboration, counting tumors to be studied and financial terms, were not revealed.

AstraZeneca PLC engages in the discovery, development, and commercialization of prescription medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, inflammation, autoimmune, oncology, infection, and neuroscience diseases worldwide.

Shares of Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI), inclined 2.19% to $55.60, during its last trading session.

Baker Hughes Incorporated, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Martin S. Craighead declared that the Baker Hughes Board of Directors declared the regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.17 per share of common stock payable December 24, 2015 to holders of record on December 3, 2015.

Baker Hughes Incorporated supplies oilfield services, products, technology, and systems to the oil and natural gas industry worldwide. The company offers drilling and evaluation products and services, which comprise drill bits for performance drilling, hole enlargement, and coring; conventional and rotary steerable systems used to drill wells; measurement-while-drilling and logging-while-drilling systems to perform reservoir navigation services; drilling optimization services; tools for coil tubing drilling and wellbore re-entry systems; coring drilling systems; surface logging; emulsion and water-based drilling fluids systems; reservoir drill-in fluids; and fluids environmental services.

Finally, Shares of FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE:FE), ended its last trade with 0.82% loss, and closed at $32.51.

Potomac Edison, has accomplished a new training facility at its Williamsport, Md., headquarters, which comprises an outdoor pole climbing yard and new classrooms. The new areas will be used to train students studying to become line workers through the company’s Power Systems Institute (PSI) program and by current Potomac Edison personnel for on-going training and instruction.

As part of this $800,000 project, indoor storage areas were converted to a 5,000 square foot training facility and an outdoor area was transformed into the climbing yard. Work began in February and was accomplished in August.

The PSI program is a utility training partnership with Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, W.Va. The students split their week learning hands-on utility skills at the new Potomac Edison facility together with technical coursework at Blue Ridge College classrooms.
