JPMorgan Chase & Co., declared the addition of Don MacQuattie to its U.S. Funds team as Head of Defined Contribution for Global Planned Relationships (GSR). In this capacity, he will lead GSR’s sales and service efforts to deliver defined contribution (DC) solutions across all U.S. Funds’ distribution channels – counting wealth administration firms, independent broker-dealers, RIAs, insurance/sub-advisory firms, record keepers, and banks & trust companies – reporting to Robert Stark, Head of Global Planned Relationships.

Shares of Platform Specialty Products Corp (NYSE:PAH), declined -1.48% to $ 25.25, during its last trading session.

Platform Specialty Products Corp, declared the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 15,849,056 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $26.50 per share. The gross proceeds to Platform from this offering are predictable to be about $420 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by Platform. Platform has granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 2,377,358 shares of its common stock. All of the shares of common stock to be sold in the offering are to be sold by Platform. The offering is predictable to close on or about June 29, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.

Platform intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund working capital and future acquisitions counting, if consummated, a portion of the consideration and related fees payable in connection with the formerly-declared acquisition by Platform of the Electronic Chemicals and Photomasks businesses of OM Group, Inc. (the “OMG Acquisition”). If accomplished, the OMG Acquisition is predictable to close in two parts, with the first closing predictable to occur during the third quarter of 2015 and the second closing predictable to occur during first quarter of 2016, in each case, subject to customary closing conditions. The closing of this offering is not conditioned on, and is predictable to be consummated before, the closing of the OMG Acquisition.

Platform Specialty Products Corporation produces and sells specialty chemical products in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. The company’s Performance Materials segment manufactures and markets plating products that are used to plate holes; final finishes, which are used on printed circuit boards; circuit formation products to promote adhesion and form circuit patterns; oxides that are used in the fabrication of multilayer circuit boards; and pre-treatment and cleaning solutions.

Finally, HSBC Holdings plc (ADR) (NYSE:HSBC), ended its last trade with 1.07% gain, and closed at $ 45.17.

HSBC Bank USA, has designated Pablo Sanchez Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Administration, effective June 1, 2015. In this New York City based role, Sanchez leads the U.S. Retail Banking and Wealth Administration business, counting Mortgage and Insurance, with oversight responsibility for the same business in Canada.
