Active Stocks Buzz: Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX), Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ:AEZS), FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ:FEYE)

On Thursday, Shares of Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX), lost -7.84% to $112.49.

Netflix is getting jeered for not taking into account the employees in its DVD-by-mail service from a recently introduced benefit that gives up to a year of paid leave to most of its workers after the birth or adoption of a baby, according to AP.

At least three online petitions posted by activist groups are urging Netflix to extend the baby benefit beyond the roughly 2,000 workers in the Internet video service that generates most of its revenue. AP Reports

Netflix has about 450 temporary, part- and full-time employees in its steadily shrinking but still profitable DVD division. AP added.

Netflix, Inc., an Internet television network, engages in the Internet delivery of TV shows and movies directly on TVs, computers, and mobile devices in the United States and internationally. The company operates in three segments: Domestic Streaming, International Streaming, and Domestic DVD. It also provides DVDs-by-mail membership services.

Shares of Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ:AEZS), declined -2.40% to $0.11, during its last trading session.

Aeterna Zentaris declared that the independent Data and Safety Monitoring Board (“DSMB”) for the pivotal Phase 3 ZoptEC (Zoptarelin Doxorubicin in Endometrial Cancer) study with zoptarelin doxorubicin in women with advanced, recurrent or metastatic endometrial cancer, will complete a pre-specified second interim efficacy and safety analysis of the compound in early October 2015 .

Aeterna Zentaris Inc., a specialty biopharmaceutical company, engages in developing and commercializing novel treatments in oncology, endocrinology, and women’s health. The company’s product pipeline comprises MACRILEN, which accomplished the Phase 2 trial for use in the diagnosis of adult growth hormone deficiency; and zoptarelin doxorubicin, which is in Phase 3 clinical study zoptarelin doxorubicin in endometrial cancer (ZoptEC) of the compound in women with advanced, recurrent, or metastatic endometrial cancer.

Finally, FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ:FEYE), ended its last trade with -8.42% loss, and closed at $39.80.

FireEye revealed the details of an advanced campaign, which appears to target information about ongoing border disputes and other diplomatic matters.

The advanced persistent threat (APT) group behind the operation, which FireEye believes is most likely based in China, sent targeted spear phishing emails containing Microsoft Word attachments to its intended victims. These documents pertained to regional issues and contained a script called WATERMAIN, which creates backdoors on infected machines. The campaign’s attacks were also detected in April 2015, about one month ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first state visit to China.

FireEye, Inc., together with its auxiliaries, provides cybersecurity solutions for detecting, preventing, and resolving cyber-attacks. The company offers vector-specific appliance solutions that provide threat protection from network to endpoint for inbound and outbound network traffic that may contain sensitive information.
