On Monday, Shares of 2U Inc (NASDAQ:TWOU), lost -0.60% to $21.56.

2U, declared that it has been named to Deloitte’s 2015 Technology Fast 500™.

The list is an annual ranking of the 500 fastest growing North American companies in the technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy technology sectors. 2U ranked at 268, based on revenue growth of 270.8 percent.

Technology Fast 500™ award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2011 to 2014. In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500™ recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues.

2U, Inc. provides cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for nonprofit colleges and universities to deliver education to qualified students. Its cloud-based SaaS platform solutions comprise online campus, an online learning platform that enables its clients to offer educational content together with instructor-led classes in a live, intimate, and engaging setting through proprietary Web-based and mobile applications; and content administration system, which enables its clients to author, review, and deploy asynchronous content into their online programs.

Shares of Liberty Ventures (NASDAQ:LVNTA), declined -0.23% to $43.26, during its last trading session.

Liberty Interactive, declares a semi-annual interest payment and additional distribution to the holders of its 4.0% Senior Exchangeable Debentures due 2029 (the “Debentures”). The amount of the semi-annual interest payment is $20.00 per $1,000 original principal amount of Debentures (a “Debenture”), and the amount of the additional distribution is $0.8489 per Debenture. Under the Indenture for the Debentures, the original principal amount of the Debentures is reduced by an amount equal to each extraordinary distribution made to holders of the Debentures. Thereafter, the adjusted principal amount is further reduced on each successive semi-annual interest payment date to the extent necessary to cause the semi-annual interest payment to represent the payment of an annualized yield of 4.0% of the adjusted principal amount. This latter adjustment, to the extent it is made by reason of a particular extraordinary distribution that results in an adjustment to the principal amount of the Debentures, takes effect on the second succeeding interest payment date after the payment of that extraordinary distribution.

To date, there has been one extraordinary distribution to holders of the Debentures. On August 7, 2013, Liberty made an extraordinary distribution of $63.0960 per $1,000 original principal amount of Debenture arising from the merger transaction between Sprint Nextel Corporation and SoftBank Corp.

Liberty Ventures, through its auxiliaries, engages in the e-commerce business. It operates bodybuilding.com, an e-commerce business that sells supplements, clothing, tanning supplies, accessories, and other bodybuilding products; and hosts an online site for network and exchange information related to bodybuilding.

Finally, Shares of Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE:RSG), ended its last trade with 1.77% gain, and closed at $43.59.

Republic Services, opened a new residential recycling center that will enable customers throughout Southern Nevada to achieve their sustainability aims for years to come. The Southern Nevada Recycling Center is capable of processing two million pounds of recyclable material per day, or 70 tons per hour, and is predictable to double recycling capacity in the area.

“This is a special day for people throughout Southern Nevada, especially our customers,” said Tim Oudman, area president of Republic Services. “A recycling center of this magnitude is a bold undertaking, and reflects our community’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Southern Nevada is home to considerable natural beauty and we are truly proud to invest in its preservation.”

The Southern Nevada Recycling Center features several advanced recycling technologies, counting five optical sorters which use 2D and 3D technologies to make material separation decisions in milliseconds. The Center’s recycling systems also provide operators with a highly automated, touch screen control system, in addition to tablet-based capabilities that allow for real time systems administration and monitoring, data acquisition and remote access.

Republic Services, Inc., together with its auxiliaries, provides non-hazardous solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal services for commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential customers in the United States. It operates through three segments: East, Central, and West.
