Active Stocks in Review: Illumina, Inc. (NASDAQ:ILMN), Cenveo, Inc. (NYSE:CVO), Jumei International Holding Ltd(ADR) (NYSE:JMEI)

Illumina, declared its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2015.

Second quarter 2015 results:

  • Revenue of $539 million, a 21% enhance contrast to $448 million in the second quarter of 2014, and an enhance of 25% on a constant currency basis
  • GAAP net income for the quarter of $102 million, or $0.69 per diluted share, contrast to $47 million, or $0.31 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2014
  • Non-GAAP net income for the quarter of $120 million, or $0.80 per diluted share, contrast to $85 million, or $0.57 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2014 (see the table entitled “Itemized Reconciliation Between GAAP and Non-GAAP Net Income” for a reconciliation of these GAAP and non-GAAP financial measures)
  • Cash flow from operations of $171 million and free cash flow of $130 million for the quarter

Illumina, Inc. provides sequencing and array-based solutions for genetic analysis in North America, Europe, Latin America, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and South Africa.

Shares of Cenveo, Inc. (NYSE:CVO), declined -9.64% to $1.50, during its last trading session.

Cenveo, declared results for the three and six months ended June 27, 2015.

“We are happy with the performance of our operations during the second quarter. Our results continue to reflect our consolidation efforts that were implemented in our envelope group as solid direct mail volumes and price enhances offset the impact of facility closures that were accomplished throughout 2014. Our envelope segment Adjusted EBITDA margins for the second quarter were 10.2%, which we committed to achieving at the time we accomplished the acquisition of certain assets of National and began the integration process. Our print, label and packaging groups continued to perform in-line with our expectations for the first six months of the year as well.”

Cenveo, Inc. provides print related products in the United States and internationally. It operates through three segments: Envelope, Print, and Label and Packaging. The Envelope segment offers direct mail products and transactional envelopes for billing and remittance used in financial institutions, insurance companies, and telecommunications companies; and specialty and stock envelopes for the office product markets and office product superstores.

Finally, Jumei International Holding Ltd(ADR) (NYSE:JMEI), ended its last trade with -0.10% loss, and closed at $19.40.

Jumei International Holding Limited, declared that it has agreed to provide BabyTree with a convertible loan and a revolving credit facility of up to RMB1.55 billion (US$250 million). The principal of the convertible loan portion of the transaction could reach as high as RMB744 million (US$120 million) depending on the working capital needs of BabyTree and certain operating performance criteria being met. The loan will be convertible into a minority interest in BabyTree based on a pre-agreed formula. The revolving credit facility will be RMB806 million (US$130 million), and drawdown by BabyTree will also depend on the working capital needs of BabyTree and certain operating performance criteria being met.

According to BabyTree, BabyTree is the largest online parenting community in China, and is among the largest online parenting communities globally as ranked by traffic volume. Presently the DAU (daily active users) of BabyTree has surpassed 10 million. BabyTree.com, the website of the company, together with its mobile apps “BabyTree Pregnancy” and “BabyTree Footprints,” cover over 80% of pregnancy-stage parents and parents of 0-6 year-old children in China. The “BabyTree Pregnancy” app ranks number one among baby and maternity mobile apps in China.

Jumei International Holding Limited operates as an online retailer of beauty products in the People’s Republic of China. The company offers beauty products, such as cosmetics, skin care, cosmetic applicators, fragrance, and body care products; and beauty products for men, and baby and children.
