On Wednesday, Shares of Masco Corp (NYSE:MAS), lost -0.82% to $30.17.

Masco Corporation, declared that Chief Financial Officer John Sznewajs will present at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2015 Paper, Packaging and Builders Conference on December 9 in Boston at 8:00 a.m. ET.

Masco Corporation manufactures, distributes, and installs home improvement and building products worldwide. Its Cabinets and Related Products segment provides cabinetry for kitchen, bath, storage, home office, and home entertainment applications; and kitchen countertops, and integrated bathroom vanity and countertop solutions.

Shares of Southern Co (NYSE:SO), declined -2.15% to $44.21, during its last trading session.

Southern Company partner Southern Power recently declared the acquisition of a controlling interest in the 157-megawatt (MW) Roserock solar facility – the company’s first solar project in Texas – from Recurrent Energy, one of North America’s largest solar developers. The latest addition to one of America’s largest renewable portfolios, the facility is being developed by Recurrent Energy, a partner of Canadian Solar Inc., which will retain the remaining interest in the project.

“Southern Power’s first solar project in Texas assists further the company’s robust wholesale business and further expands our solar footprint,” said Southern Power President and CEO Oscar C. Harper. “With planned acquisitions nationally, the continued development of industry-leading assets aligns with our company’s low-risk strategy and enhances one of America’s largest renewable portfolios.”

Representing Southern Power and Recurrent Energy’s second partnership arrangement, the project, presently under construction, is predictable to enter commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The Southern Company, together with its auxiliaries, operates as a public electric utility company. It is involved in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity through coal, nuclear, oil and gas, and hydro resources in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi.

Finally, Shares of Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARNA), ended its last trade with 1.33% gain, and closed at $2.29.

Eisai Inc. and Arena Pharmaceuticals, declared that the CAMELLIA-TIMI 61 study has reached its target enrollment of 12,000 patients at more than 470 sites in eight countries. The CAMELLIA-TIMI 61 outcomes study is designed to evaluate the impact of long-term treatment with BELVIQ® (lorcaserin HCl) CIV on the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events and conversion to type 2 diabetes mellitus in obese and overweight patients with cardiovascular disease and/or multiple cardiovascular risk factors.

The five-year study, conducted in partnership with the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) Study Group, will address the post-marketing requirement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to evaluate the long-term cardiovascular safety of BELVIQ. In addition, the study comprises two primary efficacy endpoints: (1) to assess the effect of BELVIQ on cardiovascular event risk reduction and (2) to assess the effect of BELVIQ on the conversion to type 2 diabetes mellitus among patients without diabetes at baseline.
