Revenue for the second quarter of 2015 was $1,368 million, a decrease of $3 million, or 0.2%, from $1,371 million stated in the first quarter of 2015. In the second quarter, the $264 million in revenues attributable to our Connecticut operations were flat to those stated for the first quarter.

Customer revenue for the second quarter of 2015 of $1,236 million raised 0.3% from $1,233 million in the first quarter of 2015. For our legacy Frontier operations, the enhance in data services revenue exceeded the decline in voice services revenue. Total residential revenue was stable at $615 million for the second quarter of 2015, contrast to $617 million in the first quarter of 2015. Total business revenue was $621 million for the second quarter of 2015, contrast to $616 million in the first quarter of 2015, an enhance of 0.8%.

Frontier Communications Corporation, a communications company, provides regulated and unregulated voice, data, and video services to residential, business, and wholesale customers in the United States.

Shares of Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT), declined -1.15% to $17.16, during its last trading session, hitting its lowest level.

Guinea will inoculate all people who have come into contact with new cases of Ebola after successful trials of a vaccine developed by Merck & Co., the head of the campaign against the virus said, according to Bloomberg.

Guinea’s government, the World Health Organization and the medical charity Doctors Without Borders began a series of trials of the VSV-EBOV vaccine in the West African nation on March 7, National Coordinator of the Fight against Ebola in Guinea Sakoba Keita told reporters Friday in the capital, Conakry. Bloomberg Reports

“The vaccine showed a 100 percent efficacy,” Keita said. “From recently, all the contacts will be vaccinated so as to stop the evolution of the virus.” Bloomberg added.
