Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, has declared that it’s signed a 15-year lease for 208,000 square feet of space from Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. in new plans to build a research and development center in Kendall Square, according to American City Business Journals.

Bristol-Myers (NYSE: BMY) will be the anchor tenant in the new building, which will have a total of 431,500 square feet at 100 Binney St. The project is predictable to start construction in July and be finished by the end of 2017. American City Business Journals Reports.

In other news, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. declared that Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY), a global biopharmaceutical company, will establish a state-of-the-art research and development center at the Alexandria Center® at Kendall Square (ACKS) in the heart of the Cambridge Kendall Square innovation cluster. As the anchor tenant in Alexandria’s newest ground-up development at 100 Binney Street, Bristol-Myers Squibb will lease 208,000 rentable square feet (RSF) in a world-class, highly sustainable office/laboratory facility that has a total of 431,500 RSF. The project will start construction in July 2015 and is predictable to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
