On Tuesday, LG Display Co Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:LPL)’s shares inclined 0.20% to $11.59.

Independa, partnership with LG Electronics, declared the launch of its ecommerce website. The new site provides a portal by which consumers can purchase an IndependaTV, the quintessential platform for providing advanced remote engagement and care for the Greatest Generation.

Up to this point, Independa was only accessible through enterprise outlets like care facilities and retirement communities. Independa’s television platform provides a broad range of services counting photo sharing, video chats, message sharing, a call button, and appointment and medication reminders. These features are built directly into an LG constructed television monitor, allowing for plug and play capabilities by the end user. LG is a planned partner and Independa investor.

Independa has software inside LG commercial TVs, creating the world’s first and only TV with embedded remote engagement and care services. Prudential Financial Inc (NYSE:PRU)’s shares gained 0.26% to $87.52.

Paige Warren has stepped into the newly created role of chief operating officer from her current position as head of affordable housing finance in addition to Prudential Huntoon Paige, the firm’s FHA lending business. Hal Collett, president of the company’s servicing business, Prudential Asset Resources, has been named president of Huntoon Paige; and Wells Fargo veteran Tim Seward joins the company as President of Prudential Asset Resources, PMCC’s asset administration and servicing group. The appointments were made effective June 25, 2015.

At the end of Tuesday’s trade, Dresser-Rand Group Inc. (NYSE:DRC)‘s shares surged 0.01% to $85.18.

Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS) declared that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.26 per share of the Company’s common stock, representing a 100 percent enhance from the prior quarterly dividend of $0.13 per share. Based on the closing price of Skyworks’ stock on June 17, 2015, the raised dividend represents roughly a one percent yield, or $1.04 per share on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable on August 27, 2015, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on August 6, 2015.

XOMA Corp (XOMA) declared XOMA 358, a fully human allosteric monoclonal antibody that reduces both the binding of insulin to its receptor and downstream insulin signaling, has been granted Orphan Drug Designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of congenital hyperinsulinism (HI).

Orphan drug designation is granted by the FDA Office of Orphan Products Development (OOPD) to novel drugs or biologics that treat a rare disease or condition affecting fewer than 200,000 patients in the United States. The designation provides the drug developer with a seven-year period of U.S. marketing exclusivity, in addition to tax credits for clinical research costs, the ability to apply for annual grant funding, clinical research trial design assistance, and waiver of Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) filing fees. The OOPD also works on rare disease issues with the medical and research communities, professional organizations, academia, governmental agencies, industry, and rare disease patient groups.

XOMA Corporation discovers and develops antibody-based therapeutics in the United States, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
