Health care stocks dipped Monday with the NYSE Health Care Sector Index declining about 0.7% and shares of health care companies in the S&P 500 down about 1.0% as a group.

22nd Century Group, Inc. (NYSEMKT:XXII), traded in a 52-week range of $0.97 to $6.36, hitting new 52-week low of $0.97, with shares dropped -13.68% at $1.01 in pre-market trade Tuesday, as a plant biotechnology company, declared that the Company filed its 2014 Annual Report on Form 10-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Due to travel plans over the next several days, the Company will be unable to conduct a quarterly conference call this week; instead, 22nd Century will provide a business update for investors on a conference call to be held Wednesday, February 11th at 11:00 AM (EST).

  • Merged net proceeds for the fourth quarter of 2014 were $28.7 million, which approximated the level of proceeds stated in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Thomas C. Freyman, executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer, will present at 1:15 p.m. Central time.
