Captain of Sudanese team Al-Hilal’s daughter dies after being hit by a bullet in their home

In a wave of bloody clashes that did not stop in Sudan, despite the truce, Dr. Alaa Fawzi Al-Mardi, the daughter of the captain of the Sudanese Al-Hilal team, was killed by a stray bullet.

While the girl was returning from work, she was killed by a bullet that hit her from the window of the house.

According to her father, in the midst of this tragedy, her mother was seriously injured.

In an interview with Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath, the orphaned father explained that a stray bullet killed his daughter after she returned from work.

And the captain of the Sudanese Crescent team continued that his daughter worked at the hospital on Lane 8, and she had gone home from work.

After her arrival, she went out of her bedroom into the hall, and a stray bullet pierced the window, hitting first the wife and entering her right jaw, then hit the daughter’s heart and killed her instantly.

Clashes have not subsided

These events coincided with what activists reported on social media, where they reported dozens of corpses on the streets, likely killed by bullets and indiscriminate shelling.

Since clashes broke out between the army and the Rapid Support Forces earlier this week, the capital city of Khartoum has been living in a critical humanitarian situation due to food shortages, hours of power outages and lack of potable water in many residential areas.

In addition, water and medical shortages, as well as a shortage of medical personnel, have left many hospitals out of order, some of them being bombarded by heavy artillery and warplanes, and being used as a base for the warring forces.
