Current Trade Stocks Recap: Broadcom, (NASDAQ:BRCM), Halliburton Company, (NYSE:HAL), U.S. Bancorp, (NYSE:USB)

On Tuesday, in the course of current trade, Shares of Broadcom Corp. (NASDAQ:BRCM), gained 0.30%, and is now trading at $53.40.

Broadcom Corporation, declared a satellite set-top box (STB) solution that delivers a boost in performance, lower power and support for the new DVB-S2X broadcast standard. The new BCM45308 system-on-a-chip (SoC) device integrates Full Band Capture (FBC) technology to provide satellite operators with more efficient video and IP service distribution to subscribers’ connected devices throughout the home.

The Broadcom BCM453xx Series dramatically simplifies system design and cost by integrating dual FBC Analog Digital Converters (ADCs) and up to eight demodulators in a single chip. The inclusion of FBC technology and DVB-S2X demodulators allows operators to digitize the entire 250-2350 MHz spectrum and provide flexible bandwidth deployment and tuning function in the digital domain, which enables a drastic reduction of tuner area and power. Remote diagnostics capabilities offered by FBC technology saves operators costly on-site customer visits and pairs with FastRTV® technology to provide quick channel change regardless of frequency.

Broadcom Corporation provides semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications. Its products offer voice, video, data, and multimedia connectivity in the home, office, and mobile environments. The company operates in two segments: Broadband and Connectivity, and Infrastructure and Networking.

During an Afternoon trade, Shares of Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL), gained 0.18%, and is now trading at $45.50, as oil prices rose on Tuesday after U.S. government forecasters called for shale-oil production to decline this summer.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s Drilling Productivity Report released late Monday called for oil production in the seven top shale regions to fall by 91,000 barrels a day to 5.5 million barrels a day in July contrast with June. WSJ Reports.

Halliburton Company provides a range of services and products to the upstream oil and natural gas industry worldwide. The company operates through two segments, Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.

Finally, U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB), gained 1.21% Tuesday.

U.S. Bank is offering all online banking customers free access to their credit score, plus an online simulator that tells them how the financial choices they make recently may affect their score and their ability to access credit in the future.

The service, CreditView, is offered by TransUnion. CreditView appears as a custom dashboard with the customer’s TransUnion credit score, factors that are influencing that score and variables that can simulate what may happen to that score if, for example, the customer paid off his or her credit card, or applied for a loan. The tool provides added information as consumers think through how to best position themselves financially.

In addition to credit scores, customers can use CreditView to see a summary of up to 12 months of payment history, current balances, inquiries and credit accounts opened in the last two years, percentage of accessible credit that is in use, their oldest credit accounts and the amount of accessible credit.
