The owner of Twitter, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, emphasized the importance of equal treatment of the American justice system for Democrats and Republicans.
“In order not to lose the confidence of the American public, it is important that our justice system actively pursue Democrats and Republicans,” Musk tweeted on Tuesday.

“Any party that puts justice above nepotism will be credible,” he added.
This came in response to a tweet by Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, who expressed confidence in a fair trial of the former US president, and also emphasized the inadmissibility of any external influence on the justice system and the need for all protests to be peaceful.
It comes amid former President Donald Trump’s first court appearance in New York in the context of a case involving his team’s payment of money to porn star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence about her relationship with him.
Trump faced 34 different criminal charges of financial misconduct, all of which the former US president denied.
