On Thursday, in the course of current trade, Shares of Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S), dropped -1.48%, and is now trading at $4.65.

Sprint Corporation, will have the No. 1 or 2 U.S. wireless network in terms of quality within two years, Chief Executive Officer Marcelo Claure said during a presentation at the Code Conference, according to Bloomberg.

With Sprint’s vast airwave holdings and current projects to improve network coverage in cities and high traffic areas, the company will be a top competitor on service quality, Claure said on Wednesday. The CEO’s comments come days after he met with SoftBank Corp. executives in Tokyo, a potential sign that he has backing from his bosses. Sprint is controlled by SoftBank, which owns about 80 percent of the Kansas City, Kansas-based company. Bloomberg Reports.

During Morning trade, Shares of Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV), dipped -0.84%, and is now trading at $36.68.

Southwest Airlines, proudly sponsors Honor Flight Network and donated more than $20,000 in air travel for nearly 50 Lone Eagle Veterans and their guardians to take part in a special Honor Flight and V.E. Day 70th Anniversary commemoration event in Washington, D.C. The event in early May comprised of a massive flyover of WWII aircraft and a ceremony at the WWII Memorial, during which Southwest offered refreshments and snacks to Veterans in attendance. The Veterans also spent the day visiting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Air Force Memorial, in addition to the Arlington National Cemetery for the Changing of the Guard.

Southwest has been a longtime supporter of Honor Flight Network, donating more than $3 million in travel to chapters across the United States since 2009 to support its mission to provide Veterans with honor and closure by organizing trips to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials built to recognize their service to the nation. This special donation assists Lone Eagles, Veterans who do not have a local chapter to assist them in visiting the memorials.

Southwest Airlines Co. operates passenger airlines that provide planned air transportation services in the United States and near-international markets. As of December 31, 2014, it operated 665 Boeing 737 aircraft; and had 12 Boeing 717 aircraft.

Shares of Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX), during its Thursday’s current trading session gained 0.68%, and is now trading at $11.78.

Barrick Gold Corporation, declared that it has formed a planned partnership with leading Chinese mining company Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd (“Zijin”).

As a first step, Zijin will acquire 50 percent of Barrick (Niugini) Limited (“BNL”), the company which owns 95 percent of and manages the Porgera Joint Venture gold mine in Papua New Guinea. In addition, Barrick and Zijin have signed a long-term planned cooperation agreement which outlines the intent of both companies to collaborate on future projects and joint investments, leveraging the strengths of each company.

By partnering with Zijin, Barrick advances two fundamental objectives set out as part of the company’s “back to the future” strategy. The first is to strengthen the company’s balance sheet; the proceeds from the transaction will be used to pay down debt. The second is to form planned partnerships that will create long-term value for all stakeholders.
