Today, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Mita blocked RT’s Arabic Facebook page, which has over 17 million followers.
Maya Manna, director of news at RT Arabic, said: “The RT Arabic page, which has 17 million followers, is not available on Facebook. All of a sudden they blocked us from there without notice or comment.”
The administration of the page stated that it had sent a request to the technical support department on the Facebook website and was “waiting for a response.”
The Arabic-language RT Facebook page is blocked and has about 17 million followers. We were simply deleted without prior warning or even any explanation. We are trying to contact the Facebook technical support department, and we are still waiting for a response. rice.twitter.com/38RoiUAaRa

This comes as part of an intense and systematic campaign to prevent the RT network from presenting its own point of view in several languages around the world, at a time when we hear loud Western, European and American slogans about “freedom of speech”, “freedom of expression” and “right to know”.
