During Thursday’s trade, Shares of Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB), lost -0.38% to $105.67.

FB has finally decided to comply with the Belgium court’s ruling. The social media giant has had a tough time with Belgian regulators who were not so happy with the company’s practice of tracking people (even those who were not Facebook users or not logged in).

Per a recent Reuters report, Facebook will no longer be tracking non-registered users’ data in the region.

The company admitted to tracking data for the past five years by inserting a cookie called ‘Datr’ into the browser whenever a person visited the platform. Belgian authorities (or for that matter a number of other European countries) have vehemently opposed this practice as they believed it violated the domestic data protection policies.

Facebook, Inc. operates as a social networking company worldwide. It provides a set of development tools and application programming interfaces that enable developers to integrate with Facebook to create mobile and Web applications.

Shares of Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX), inclined 2.96% to $7.64, during its current trading session.

Barrick Gold Corporation, declared that it has designated J. Robert S. Prichard to the company’s Board of Directors.

The company stated second quarter worldwide revenue of $7.058 billion, an improvement of 6 percent. Foreign currency translation had a negative $452 million impact on revenue.
